This is a celebration of public education in Ontario, the people who work everyday for our kids. This is a blog about where education is currently, and the endless possibilities to take it forward.
My name is Jennifer Arp. I’m a mother, consultant, and former Toronto District School Board Trustee, where I had the privilege of serving as Vice-Chair of the Board. Over the past number of years I’ve had the opportunity to meet many educators and spend time in many schools, I’m excited to share their stories with you.
Public education is the best education. Through my experience as both a parent, and Trustee I have seen what’s possible when we expect more and that when we all have high expectations, there is no limit to what can be achieved.
